Kamaraj rule will blossom in 2011: TNCC chief

Chennai, July 15 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) President M Krishnaswamy today said Kamaraj rule would blossom in the state during 2011.

Talking to reporters, after garlanding a decorated portrait of late Chief Minister K Kamaraj on the occasion of his 105th birth anniversary at TNCC headquarters here, he appealed to the party workers to sink their differences and work in unison to usher in Kamaraj rule.

''Moreover, it is imperative for the cadres to strengthen the party,'' he added.

Mr Krishnaswamy thanked Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for announcing Kamaraj's birth anniversary as ''Education Development Day''.

Earlier, Mr Krishnaswamy distributed tri-cycles to physically challenged persons and notebooks to poor students besides sarees and dhoties to poor people.
