Great Offshore bags Rs 1,000cr contract from ONGC

New Delhi, July 15: Country's prominent integrated offshore oilfield services provider, Great Offshore Ltd said it has been awarded a five year contract valued at Rs 1,000 crore from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGCL) for its new state-of-the-art Jackup Rig 'Samed Shikhar'.

The contract is slated to commence on or before May 2009, the company said in a statement issued to BSE.

Great Offshore carrier out offshore exploration and production (E&P) activities such as drilling services to marine and air logistics, from marine construction to port/terminal services.
