Ban orders imposed in Mysore following clash
Mysore, July 15 (UNI) Tension prevailed in the city following clash between two groups and ban orders under 144 section KSRPC has been imposed in five police stations limits of the city today.
Police said that trouble broke out after an incident one of the prayer halls was disfigured and damaged in N R Mohalla area in the city late last night.
City Police Commissioner Bhaskar visited the spot and additional police deployment was been made.
Meanwhile six persons had been taken into custody by the police for investigation.
The situation was tense but under control, Mr Bhaskar said.
Tanveer Sait, Former Minister and MLA of the N R Mohalla constituency visited the spot and appealed to the clashing groups to remain calm.
We have already taken measures to identify the persons who involved in the incident, he said.
