Academy of Motion Pictures selects Namaste London's script

Mumbai, July 15 (UNI) The script of Vipul Shah's 'Namaste London' will be added to the prestigious library of the Academy of Motion Pictures.

The script of the romantic comedy of a Punjabi man (Akshay Kumar) with an ''English memsahib'' will be used for reference by students of cinema, along with recent classics like 'Finding Nemo', 'The Passion of Christ', 'Devdas', 'Kal Ho Na Ho' and 'Lagaan', the release stated.

''Out of the blue, I received a call requesting for the script....

They are now keeping track of what's happening in the Indian motion picture scene,'' said Vipul Shah.

The library has collections of more than 32,000 books, 1,800 periodical titles, 60,000 screenplays and over 8 million photographs, the release added.
