Maharashtra: 21 injured in truck-bus collision

Aurangabad, July 15: As many as 21 people were injured, five of them seriously, when a speeding truck collided head on with a bus near Mantha Chauphuli in Jalna district.

The accident took place last evening at about 1745 hrs. The bus was going to Partur from Jalna, while the truck was coming from the opposite direction, injuring the people travelling in the bus, police said today.

The injured were admitted to the civic hospital.

A case has been registered against the truck driver at Sadar Bazaar police station in Jalna, police added.
