Woman kills her husband with paramour's help

Akola, July 14 (UNI) A woman killed her husband with the help of her paramour at Dudham village in the distict.

The woman, Lata Mhaske, and her paramour, Raju Sudama Tajne, were arrested yesterday for murdering her husband Gajanan Mhaske. She has confessed to the crime, police said.

During interrogation, Lata said Gajanan was a habitual drunkard and frequently asked for money. Meanwhile, an illicit relationship developed between her and one Raju Tajne. When Gajanan got a whiff of it, he began harassing her as he did not approve her relationship.

Lata lynched Gajanan to death with the help of Raju and then threw his body in a nearby well. Later, she lodged a missing complaint with the police, who, however, suspected foul play and arrested both.

Both were arrested under sections 302 and 201 under Indian Penal Code (IPC), police added.
