RSIL floats Joint Venture with Evotec

Mumbai, July 14: Mumbai based Research Support International Limited (RSIL), a wholly owned subsidiary of DIL Limited, has floated a joint venture (JV), with Evotec AG of Hamburg, to design, synthesize and manage compound libraries.

Evotec-RSIL combine will center in Pune and will use Evotec's expertise in library design, synthesis, analysis, purification and project management to provide high quality, cost efficient solution for the management of compound libraries, a release said.

''This joint venture will address the ever growing demand from pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to outsource library synthesis needs to highly skilled partners,'' RSIL Director, Irfan Bandukwalla said.

The joined entity will also offer library management services to analyse and purify large screening libraries in cost efficient manner.
