'Regional Manifesto' at World Hindi Conference in UN
New York, July 14 (UNI) A new trend will begin at the eighth World Hindi Conference at the United Nations headquarters here in the form of release of a 'regional manifesto'.
On the basis of the recommendations by several educational committees, the manifesto will be prepared for release on the third and final day of the conference which is totally a new trend, said Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma who is also the president of the 'standing committee'of the World Hindi Conference.
The manifesto will pave the way for government effort regarding making Hindi one of the official languages at the UN.
