Passenger manhandles Air Deccan employee

Kolkata, Jul 14 (UNI) An irate passenger today manhandled an Air Deccan employee at the NSCBI airport after being refused to be taken on board a flight bound for Bangalore from here.

Airport official said the man had arrived at the check-in counter of the airline 15 minutes before the flight was scheduled to leave at 1620 hrs but the door of the aircraft was closed.

Air Deccan personnel handed the man over to the police, who, however, released him after he apologised to the airline officials.
