Panthers Party for conscience vote in Prez poll
Thiruvananthapuram, July 14: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party Chairman Prof Bhim Singh today appealed to the MPs and MLAs to vote as per their conscience in the coming Presidential election.
As part of his Kashmir-to-Kanyakumari campaign to canvass votes for NDA-backed independent candidate Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, he told newspersons here that he would visit almost all the States and appeal to the voters to elect as per their conscience. ''Since whip is not applicable in Presidential election, MPs and MLAs have the option to choose the right candidate.'' While several allegations were raised against UPA-Left candidate Pratibha Patil, Mr Shekhawat represented the entire people, irrespective of their region, state or religion, Prof Singh claimed.
He said the Panthers Party would stand for absolute integration of Jammu and Kashmir with India.
