Mala Mahanadu leader arrested

Hyderabad, Jul 14 (UNI) The city police today arrested Mala Mahanadu President and MLC J Prabhakar Rao, while addressing a press confernece, in an attempt to prevent him from participating in an agitation against the Usha Mehra Commission who would arrive in the city tomorrow to organise a public hearing on categorisation of Scheduled Castes (SCs).

Police arrested Mr Rao and detained him in the police station, who was fighting against the categorisation of SCs into four groups in the state.

The city police had not given permission to Mr Mala Mahanadu for organising agitation and rally against the constitution of Usha Mehra commission by the Centre.
