Kidnapped boy rescued, abductor held

Gonda, July 14 (UNI) An eight-year-old boy, who was abducted from Motiganj area here three days ago, was today rescued with the arrest of his kidnapper.

In a joint operation of police and Special Task Force (STF), Bablu Srivastava was rescued from the clutches of his abductor near Gonda railway station, Police Superintendent Shachi Ghildiyal told newspersons here.

The accused Pramod Kumar was demanding Rs five lakh as ransom.
