Junior Engineer, Accountant arrested taking bribe

Bulandshahr, July 14 (UNI) Two officials, including a junior engineer and an accountant, were arrested and sent to jail for accepting a bribe in this district of Uttar Pradesh.

The duo were caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 3200 for the issuance of a 'No-Objection Certificate' for the construction of a primary school in Jahangirabad Vikas Khand.

Both the junior engineer and the accountant were nabbed by the Vigilance Department team, constituted under the directions of the District Magistrate.
