CM warns Jurong India over delay in Science City

Hyderabad, July 14 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today warned of cancellation of Memorandum of Understanding with Jurong India if there was any further delay in starting work on the proposed Science City in Anantapur.

Reviewing the progress of the project, Dr Reddy asked the firm to start the work as per the MoU.

Jurong India Managing Director Munukotla Rao assured the Chief Minister that ''work will start in full swing soon''. "An aerial survey of the area is underway," he added.

Major Industries Minister Geeta Reddy, Panchayatraj Minister J C Diwakar Reddy, Industries Principal Secretary Sam Bob, APIIC Chairman and Managing Director B P Acharya and other officials attended the meeting.
