Cases filed for violating weight and measures act
Mumbai, July 14 (UNI) The officers of Weights and Measures Department from the Mumbai and Konkan division carried out a series of raids in the state and registered 203 cases against different establishments selling homeopathic, ayurvedic and unani medicines for violating the Weights and Measures rules.
They have also seized goods worth Rs 17 lakh.
The relevant cases were registered for not mentioning the address of the manufacturer, telephone number, maximum retail price (MRP) on tablets, syrups, shampoos and hair conditioners controller, Ankush Dhanvijay said in an official statement today.
