BJP to arrange for educational assistance

Mumbai, Jul 14 (UNI) In a move aimed at providing succour to families of farmers, who have committed suicide in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra, the BJP has adopted ten students from their families.

The party has arranged for education of these students and the amount given by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabhodini, a social organisation, would be deposited in a bank for the next five years.

In a press statement here, BJP's Maharashtra unit President, Nitin Gadkari said the BJP will help many more families of such farmers and accused the State government for turning a blind eye to the farmers plight.
