Anand Sharma says will meet authors regarding their absence
New York, July 14 (UNI) Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma said he will personally talk to famous authors regarding their absence at the Eighth World Hindi Conference.
During a press conference here yesterday, when asked why great litterateurs like Mr Kedarnath Singh, Mr Namvar Singh and Mr Ashok Vajpai did not attend the World Hindi Meet, the minister replied that he held them in great esteem and he would personally ask them about the reason for their absence.
Mr Sharma, who is also the President of the Standing Committee said, it was only natural that problems could arise during such a big event. ''It is, probably, not possible for anyone to satisfy each and every person,'' he added.
