UP: 4 wounded in bomb attack in Chowk area

Varanasi, July 14: A trader and his three servants were wounded when unidentified criminals hurled a bomb at them in the Chowk area here this evening.

Taufiq, a cosmetic product trader, had just pulled downed the shutters of his shop in the Sarai Harha area when three people reached the spot and hurled a crude bomb at the trader. Taufiq and his three servants sustained minor injuries in the explosion police said.

The three bumbers snatched a bag from Taufiq and fled from the spot. The bag contained a tiffin box and some other items.

Later, the trader and his three servants were rushed to the district hospital. A hunt has been launched to nab the criminals.
