Two officials sent to jail for taking bribe

Patna, Jul 13 (UNI) Special vigilance court of S P N Singh today remanded Ashok Paswan, a revenue clerk of Haveli Kharagpur circle in Munger, to jail custody till July 27 in a bribery case.

The clerk was arrested yesterday at Munger Collectorate when he was taking Rs 1500 from a person for mutation of a piece of land.

Another vigilance judge S K Panwar sent a sub-inspector of Muffasil police station in Gaya district to jail till July 27 for taking bribe.

The police officer was arrested at the police station yesterday when he was taking bribe of Rs 1500 for sending the case diary from the police station.
