TEA thanks Centre in revising drawback rates

Tirupur, July 13: Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) expressed thanks to the Centre for revising the drawback rates for knitted garments three per cent upwards, with effect from April one last.

In a press release here today, TEA President A Sakthivel said he had sent a letter to thank all the Ministries concerned, which had played a vital role and recommended for upward revision of drawback rate for knitted garments, by taking into the data submitted by TEA.

He said the reduction of ECGC premium charged for exporters by ten per cent would have added effect in the exporters performance.
