Isolated downpours in MP

Bhopal, July 13 (UNI) Light rain continues to be the order of the day in Madhya Pradesh though isolated downpours were experienced in the eastern and northern parts.

''Overnight precipitation was recorded at several places in Jabalpur division, at a few in Sagar and Gwalior divisions,'' a Regional Meteorological Centre spokesman said. The figures were Waraseoni, Guna three cm each; Umaria two cm; Malajkhand, Katni, Dindori and Navgaon 1 cm each. Thundershowers are likely at many locations in the eastern part and at a few places in the rest of the state over the next 24 hours.

The state capital recorded a high of 30.4 degree Celsius, two notches higher than yesterday.
