Hyderabad, July 13 (UNI) Demag India a whole owned subsidiary of Demag Cranes and Components, Germany, leaders in the field of material handling technology will expand its presence in Southern India with appointment of it's first dealer in Andhra Pradesh.

In a statement here today, Vice-President (Sales) Demag Vivek Shesh said the endeavor of the company had always been to stay close to the customer, to articulate their needs precisely and to offer right kind of solution that exactly matches the customer's need.

Due to increased industrialisation in the state and Hyderabad being the epicenter of rapid industrial growth, we believe synergy between Demag and Dealer will go a long a way in bringing out results, he said.

The company had appointed Gayatri Technology as the dealer for Andhra Pradesh, he said.

Gayatri Technology would guide customers on selection, procurement and operations of Demag equipment and components. The dealer would also render service to customer's equipments on a regular basis and replacing, and changing of critical spare parts for the cranes and equipments to ensure maximum up time.

Through continued and sustained product innovation, Demag was emerging as a leader in its line of business in India too. In view of this, recently the company had taken a strategic decision to proliferate its presence more in the Indian market especially in Southern India.

With its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Pune and Maharashtra, the company had sales and service offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Chennai.
