Anganwadi workers stage dharna

Puducherry, July 13 (UNI) A section of the Anganwadi workers continued their dharna in front of the Legislative Assembly to protest against the government order transferring them enmasse.

The administration had served showcause notice on those who failed to obtain relieving order and report to duty at the new centre.

Protesting this, they continued their agitation in front of the Legislative Assembly. However, about 20 per cent of the staff were attending duty today.
