51 Naval Officers pass out

Kochi, July 13 (UNI) About 51 naval officers of the 70th Integrated Course passed out of the portals of Southern Naval Command after successfully completing 50 weeks of professional training Sub Lieutenant (Executive) Technical Courses.

With this course, these young Naval Officers have completed the training in the executive branch of the navy, spread over five years, according to an official release today.

Commodore S H Subramanian, Director Maritime Warfare Centre here reviewed the parade and presented awards.

SLt Y Pramod received the 'Admiral Ram Dass Katari' trophy for standing first in all phases of training and also the 'Chief of the Naval Staff' trophy for standing first in the technical courses.

The 'Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Naval Command' trophy for coming second in overall order of merit was awarded to SLt Deepanshu Bura.

The 'Sword of Honour' along with the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Silver Medal was awarded to SLt Vikas Anand while SLt Abhishek C Doke and SLt Y Pramod received the CNS Gold and Bronze medals, respectively for their performance in the Midshipman phase.
