MSN acquires Armour pharma

Hyderabad, July 12, (UNI) The Rs 145 crore MSN group of companies has forayed into formulations by acquiring a unit of Armour Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

''The acquisition shall help us to move up the value chain in the pharmaceutical industry. We shall be rolling out a series of products in finished dosage segment-solid dosage and liquid forms,'' MSN Group of companies Chairman M S N Reddy said here.

The group presently catered to about 25 different therapeutic segments. However, the company initially proposed to launch finished dosages in the obesity, bacteria, cardiovascular, epilepsy and related therapy areas, a company release here said.
