KPWCC chief seeks support for Pratibha

Hubli, July 12 (UNI) Karnataka Pradesh Women Congress Committee (KPWCC) chief and former state minister Rani Satish today appealed to all elected representatives to support UPA-Left Presidential candidate Pratibha Patil.

Talking to newspersons here, she said elected representatives should support Ms Patil since in the 60 year history after independence a woman would be occupying the top post of the country.

Ms Satish said the opposition parties were levelling false allegations against Ms Patil as she came from a political background.
