Jaswant calls on Vaiko

Chennai, Jul 12 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and former External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh today called on MDMK General Secretary Vaiko.

The two leaders discussed about the prevailing political situation in the country.

The meeting, held at MDMK Headquarters ''Thayagam'' lasted, about half an hour, party sources said.

Today's meeting comes a day after Mr Jaswant met UNPA constituent and AIADMK Supremo J Jayalalithaa. MDMK was also a member of the UNPA, comprising eight regional parties.
