BJP to observe 'Chalo Assembly'

Tirupati, July 12 (UNI) BJP will observe 'Chalo Assembly' during the next Assembly Session to be held here from July 16, following stalling of the ordinance providing four per cent reservation to muslims, party state President Banadaru Dattatreya said today.

Speaking in a press conference, he said inspite of the stiff resistance from BC communities, the Cabinet decided to bring out an ordiance in the Assembly.

He alleged that the government was trying to divide the muslims on the lines of caste.

To protest against the caste based politics in providing reservations to muslims and to highlight the anti-people policies of the Congress government in the state, the party would conduct agitations at towns and village level in the state from July 20, he added.

Answering a question, he said the party would contest alone in the next election.
