3 killed in mutilple collision

Chennai, July 12 (UNI) Three people were killed in a multiple collision near the tourist spot of Mahabalipuram on the East Coast Road early today.

Reports received at the police headquarters here said two people travelling in a car were killed when it collided with a lorry.

The lorry was then parked on the road side when a private bus from Chennai to Pondicherry rammed into it resulting in serious injuries to the bus driver.

He was rushed to the Government General Hospital here where he was declared brought dead.
