UP: Road mishap kills 3, injures 8

Badaun, July 11: At least three people, including two women, were killed and eight others grievously injured after an Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus collided head on with a tonga in Wazirganj area of the district today.

The accident took place near Rama Dharmkanta where the roadways bus collided with the tonga, killing three persons on the spot.

The deceased included Kalyan (60), his wife and another woman, police said.

The injured had been admitted to hospital and an investigation was on.
