Sundaram Infotech forays into Australia

Chennai, Jul 11: Sundaram Infotech Solutions Ltd (SISL), the information technology arm of Sundaram Finance Ltd, is foraying into the Australian IT services market.

Sundaram Infotech will target the ERP market in Australia, specifically the medium enterprises in the automotive and construction verticals.

The company will also target mid-sized companies with its software service offerings in platforms like dot net and java technologies.

The Sundaram Finance Group has presence in Australia, with its BPO arm, Sundaram Business Services.

"We believe that the ERP and information technology services outsourcing market holds a lot of potential, as can be seen from the initial interest generated in Australia, and are confident that, in the coming years, we will be able to establish a strong presence in the Aussie market," said Srinivas Acharya, Deputy Managing Director of Sundaram Finance Ltd and CEO of Sundaram Infotech in a release here today.

The company has also opened its office in Melbourne.
