Governor issues notification for Monsoon Session

Hyderabad, July 11 (UNI) Coinciding with the Presidential Elections, the Monsoon Session of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly will be held from July 16.

Governor Rameshwar Thakur issued a notification summoning the Andhra Pradesh State Assembly to meet for its 12th session.

The duration of the session would be decided by Speaker K R Suresh by holding the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting, official sources said, adding the electoral college for the July 19 Presidential election would be constituted during the session.

The session was expected to be stormy with the Opposition parties determined to raise various issues, including price rise and land for the poor.
