Gastro-enteritis breaks out in Gulbarga Dst.

Gulbarga, Jul 11 (UNI) Gastro-enteritis broke out in Yadgir taluk of this district with at least 43 persons affected by the epidemic during last four days.

Health officials said 39 persons suffered from the epidemic in Basaranna Thanda, and four more in Sourashtralli, in Yadgir taluk.

Expect five, all others were being treated in different hospitals and were recovering.

Officials suspect that contaminated water was cause as sewage water was found mixed in the drinking water supplied in the area.

A team of doctors visited the affected areas and collected water samples.
