102 test tube babies born in Nepal
Kathmandu, July 11: A total of 102 test tube babies were born in Nepal in the last four years.
Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala showered blessings on four test-tube babies and felicitated their parents at a programme organised by Om Health Foundation at Birendra International Convention Hall.
The babies have been born through IVF method during the past four years at Om Hospital.
Minister for Health and Population Giriraj Mani Pokhrel and former deputy prime minister Amik Sherchan jointly felicitated the parents and their babies born through IVF method during the programme.
The first-born baby Om Mani Tamang has now turned five.
