West Bengal Assembly adjourned for the day

Kolkata, July 10 (UNI) The West Bengal Assembly was adjouned for the day today, as a mark of respect to former prime minister Chandra Shekhar, who died on Sunday.

Speaker Hashim Abdul Halim declared adjournment after making an obituary reference to the former prime minister, shortly after the House began.
