Two soldiers dead, 8 hurt, in Pakistan mosque assault
ISLAMABAD, July 10 (Reuters) Two Pakistani soldiers have been killed and eight wounded in an assault today on a radical mosque compound in the capital where Islamist militants have been holed up for the past week.
''We received 10 casualties, two of them have died,'' said Mutahir Shah, a doctor at Islamabad's main hospital.
The military said it had no information about militant casualties in the assault, which was still going on.
