Soren produced in Dumka court

Dumka, July 10 (UNI) Jailed former union minister and president of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Sibu Soren was today produced before a local court in violation of election code of conduct in this district three years ago.

Soren was produced before the court of first class judicial magistrate Prem Kumar, who fixed August 13 as next date for hearing.

About seven persons including Soren had been accused in the case registered in Ramgarh police station of the district three years ago.

Soren, facing life term imprisonment for killing his personal assistant Shashi Nath Jha, was shifted to Dumka Central jail after being lodged in Tihar jail in New Delhi.
