Shasun licenses technology to Denmark's Lundbeck

New Delhi, July 10 (UNI) Shasun Chemicals and Drugs Ltd today said its UK unit has signed a deal to license proprietary technology to Denmark's H Lundbeck A/S for making new bulk drugs.

Under the terms of the agreement, the company's UK-based subsidiary Shasun Pharma Solutions Ltd will grant H Lundbeck the use of its proprietary cross-coupling technology to manufacture and commercialise new active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).

''This is yet another example of Shasun's flexibility in dealing with the management of its intellectual property and making sure that it services its customer first,'' company's Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Govindarajan said.
