Rupee opens at 40.38/40 per US Dollar
Mumbai, Jul 10: Indian rupee opened today at 40.38/40 per US dollar as compared to the previous close at 40.43/44.
The local unit opened today nearly five paise stronger and during the noon session, it was supported by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The rupee remained absolutely range bounded due to the intervention of RBI, currently trading at 40.40/41 levels, dealers said.
