Polish party to file no-confidence motion in gov't
WARSAW, July 9 (Reuters) Poland's leftist opposition party today said it would file a motion of no-confidence in the government.
''We will file such a motion tomorrow,'' Wojciech Olejniczak, the leader of the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD), told a news conference.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski sacked Andrzej Lepper, the leader of a junior coalition party, and Lepper's party said it would quit the coalition.
The motion of no-confidence needs a simple majorty to succeed and the party which files it has to propose its own prime minister candidate along with the motion.
