Oppn Congress stages walk out

Bangalore, July 10 (UNI) The Opposition Congress today staged a walk out in the Legislative Assembly protesting against the government's alleged deliberate attempt to delay the conduct of polls to Bangalore Mahanagar Palika.

Replying to a question by Mr Ramalinga Reddy (Congress), Chief Minister H D Kumarswamy said the process of reservation and delimitation of the constituencies was still in progress and it would submit the report to the Election office.

He said it was the work of the Election office to fix the date for holding of elections and his party Janata Dal (S) was ready to face the elections whenever they are declared.

However, not satisfied with the reply, the Congress led by Leader of Opposition N Dharam Singh staged a walk out along with Vatal Nagaraj (Vatal Kannada Cheluvali Paksha).
