National Instruments expands presence in India

Bangalore, July 10: National Instruments (NI), a technology pioneer and leader in virtual instrumentation, has expanded its presence in India to better serve its growing customer base.

The expansion included an additional office in Bangalore and a new office in New Delhi, the first NI office in the north, the company said in a release here today.

The new premises in Bangalore and New Delhi would provide the company's customers with five new, state-of-the-art training facilities. Through increasing its training capacity by more than three times and extending training programs to customers in larger batches at one time, NI is helping more customers benefit from the cost-effective, high-quality professional training designed to improve productivity and successful application development with NI tools the release said.

''Our new offices in Bangalore and Delhi are indicative of the National Instruments commitment to giving Indian engineers and scientists all of the tools they need to be successful, with a strong focus on meeting customer training requirements'' said Jayaram Pillai, Managing Director for NI India and regional manager for NI Russia and NI Arabia.
