Libyan Minister to arrive on July 12
New Delhi, July 10 (UNI) The Tenth Session of the India-Libya Joint Commission to discuss strengthening of bilateral cooperation in all sectors, including energy, will be held later this week.
Libya's Minister for Trade, Economy and Investment, Dr Ali Abdel Aziz Al-Essawi, who will pay an an official visit to India from July 12-15, will lead his country's delegation at the Session while the Indian side will be headed by Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath.
''During the meetings, strengthening of bilateral cooperation in all sectors will be discussed...'' a statement issued by the Libyan Peoples Bureau here said.
The visit takes place against the background of the upswing in bilateral relations in the recent past and the exchange of high-level visits.
External Affairs Minister Pranab Mykherjee visited Libya on May 26.
