HDFC Q1 net up 34.2 per cent

New Delhi, July 10: HDFC Bank Ltd today said it has posted 34.2 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 321.23 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 as against Rs 239.30 crore during the corresponding quarter a year ago.

The bank's total income also rose 47 per cent to Rs 2,641.70 in the said quarter from Rs 1,795.21 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, a statement said.
