Govt committed to implement GO 610: PCC President
Hyderabad, July 10 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President K Keshava Rao today said the State Government was committed to implement the GO 610 and there would be no compromise on it.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the state Government had already started the process on the implementation of the GO.
The Government had discussed the matter with the employees associations of Andhra and Telangana Regions, who had expressed their satisfaction on the government's efforts, he said.
Asked about Narasapur Congress MP K Harirama Jogaiah moving court on the implementation of GO 610, Mr Rao clarified that Jogaiah had moved court not against the implementation of the GO but to seek some clarifications on the Presidential Order in implementing the GO.
Mr Rao said he had held discussions with the Congress MP and clarified his position on the matter.
Earlier, Mr Jogaiah told reporters that he was not against the implementation of GO 610. But it should be implemented in true sense and employees of both the regions should not suffer.
The Congress High Command and the local leaders should chalk out a formula for the benefit of employees of both the regions, he said adding that he had already approached the High Command in this regard and the party should not suffer in Andhra Region in implementing the GO.
