Development, parking charges not to be levied till July 30

New Delhi, July 10 (UNI) The Delhi High Court today extended the date for restraining DDA, MCD and Urban Developement Ministry from demanding developement and parking charges from lawyers and doctors who fall under the category of professionals till July 30.

The Vacation bench had earlier stayed the sealing proceedings to be carried out by these agencies against the residential premises of professionals till July 10, as a matter of similar nature is pending before the Supreme Court.

Lawyers, doctors, chartered accountants and other professionals demanded that Master Plan 2021 allows them to use 50 per cent of their residential premises for professional activities.

Thus, any other earlier notification issued by the agencies stand cancelled, they contended.
