Mindless use of electronic gadgets!

New Delhi, July 10: An NGO today urged all sections of society to create awareness about the hazards of ever increasing web of electromagnetic radiation around humans through various electronic equipment like mobile phones and laptop computers.

''With excessive and mindless use of electronic gadgets like mobile phones, cordless phones, microwave ovens, laptop computers, electric shavers, remote controllers and so many other equipments of daily convenience, we have invited into our once peaceful life, the hazard of electronic pollution,'' New Delhi-based NGO, Global Wellness Foundation said in a statement.

The Foundation in association with Karamjyot Sewa Trust of Gujarat, Saraswati Jankalyan Nidhi and India-Aids with the help of noted scientists, environmentalists, social activists and the philanthropists have strongly appealed to the people of the entire world.

It is organising various festivals, seminars, rallies and cultural programmes under their slogan, ''Sabko Bachao''.

To bring awareness in the masses, the environmental magazines, 'Radiation Guru' are also being distributed free in measure by EMR solutions Ltd, which is conducting research invention and working for a clean, green and radiation free world.
