CM clears 40 per cent 'Janata darshan' applications
Bangalore, July 10 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today said he had cleared 40 per cent of the applications, received during the 'Janatha Darshan' and 'Village stays' conducted during the past 17 months.
Replying to a query by Narendra Babu (Congress) in the Assembly, Mr Kumarswamy said he had received more than 70,000 grievances from various sections of people.
He had conducted at least 13 'Janatha Darshans' in the city and 34 'Village Stays' to respond to the sufferings of the common man, directly, across the state.
The rest 60 per cent of the applications were under various stages of consideration, he said.
The monthly pension for the handicapped and the widows had been increased to Rs 400 as a result of the 'Janatha Darshans', he said.
