Chargesheet against ex-executive engineer

Patna, July 10 (UNI) The State Vigilance Bureau today filed chargesheet against Mahadev Baitha, a retired executive engineer of Public Works Department(PWD) in a disproportionate assets case.

The chargesheet was submitted by the Bureau in the court of special vigilance judge S K Panwar under different sections of Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act.

According to the charges, the accused had amassed wealth of over Rs four lakhs, disproportionate to his all known sources of income from 1969 to 1987.

The case was registred in 1993.
