2 jail officials suspended

Ghazipur, July 10 (UNI) Two district jail officials, including a prison guard, were suspended for dereliction of duty here.

During a surprise inspection by DIG (Jail) Pramod Kumar Tiwari late last evening, a man was found meeting a prisoner without permission.

Taking stock of the situation, Mr Tiwari suspended prison guard Krishnakant and another official Komal Prasad with immediate effect.
